BWT Bestsave M Anti Scale Filter Pad

BWT's Bestsave water filter is an in tank filter that protects your machine against scale buildup and helps to improve the taste your espresso. Wrapped in a food-grade quality fleece, the Bestsave uses an ion exchanger to bind calcium ions in the water. This process also helps to remove unwanted tastes and smells by significantly removing heavy metals like copper and zinc and chemicals like chlorine from your water.

 

To activate the Bestsave filter, simply leave it in a full tank of water for 8-10 hours. Once the filter is activated it will work to filter your water until it expires. In the interest of hygiene, BWT recommends changing out the filter every two months.

 

Each cartridge can filter up to roughly 100 liters of water before needing a replacement, as indicated electronically by the filter.  All but the lid is dishwasher safe, it's easy to fill with it's splash free design, and it's compact enough to fit well in most household refrigerator doors.
